East London police are investigating a murder of a 42-year-old farmer, who was found lying in a pool of blood at his East Coast Farm near East London on Friday morning.
Police spokesperson Captain Hazel Mqala, says the deceased who was patrolling his Sunrise Eggs farm, was discovered by farmworkers on a grazing field with two stab wounds on his upper body.
Mqala says he was driving his Toyota Hilux bakkie during his patrol, which is now missing, along with his cellphone and wallet.
The motive for the murder is unknown at this stage.
The name of the deceased is known to Algoa FM News but police have not yet formally identified the victim.
