Grahamstown police seized a large quantity of drugs in two early morning raids on long-distance buses.
Police spokesperson, Mali Govender, says highway patrol members stopped a Translux-bus on the N2 near the Settlers' Monument shortly after 5am on Wednesday.
They found a large, but unspecified quantity of "khat" in an unmarked bag.
Govender says minutes later, a City Liner bus was also pulled over, and police found R12,000 worth of dagga in an unmarked case.
Both buses were travelling from Durban to Cape Town, and no-one has been arrested.
