Dysseldorp teen in court for murder

An 18 year old youth from Dysselsdorp in the southern Cape will appear in court in Oudtshoorn today for the murder of his teenage girlfriend.

Captain Pojie says the youth allegedly stabbed 19 year old Sandy Smith in the leg following an argument on Saturday.

He then fled the scene and returned later to find that Smith had already died.

The youth was arrested on the scene and is currently in detention.
