Drugs recovered from the N2 highway near Humansdorp

Humansdorp police have recovered drugs from the N2 highway in two seperate incidents.
Police spokesperson, WO Gerda Swart says the newly established SAPS Highway Patrol and the K-9 units were patrolling the N2 on Friday, when they noticed a suspicious vehicle.
She says items were thrown from the vehicle, and upon investigation, police found tik to the value of R10-thousand on the road.
Swart says in a similar incident, mandrax tablets worth R5-thousand were found on the road.
