Five men and a woman have been arrested for possession of drugs worth about R120 000 in George.

Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Pojie, says the five Nigerian men and South African woman, all aged between 30 and 40, were arrested in Lawaaikamp on Sunday afternoon.

He says police found two bags containing 2500 Mandrax tablets that were concealed in a cake flour bag, and Tik in their possession.

They will appear in the George Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
