The bail hearing of the two men accused of killing 42-year-old Vicki Terblanche was postponed on Thursday in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's Court.

This follows the arrest of Terblanche's estranged husband Arnold at his Millpark home on Wednesday evening.

The 53-year-old businessman will now also be charged with murder.

Vicki's boyfriend, 32-year-old former teacher Reinhardt Leach and 24-year-old Dylan Cullis have already been in custody for almost a month for her murder.

All three accused will now appear in court together on Friday, with Arnold Terblanche making his first appearance.

Due to the latest developments in the case, the bail application will not proceed as Terblanche will now be processed and added to the charge sheet.

It was also revealed in court by defence attorney, Ryno Scholtz, who is appearing on behalf of Cullis, that his client will no longer be applying for bail at this stage.

Leach's defence attorney, Theuns Roelofse, said they were not proceeding with the bail application in anticipation of Arnold Terblanche's appearance.

At the time of her murder, Vicki and Arnold were in the process of getting a divorce and had been separated for several months.

Arnold Terblanche is a former director at PROAC Engineering in Gqeberha.

Shortly after Leach and Cullis' arrest, Arnold's current girlfriend became very vocal on social media, especially when fingers started being pointed at her lover.

She made several statements on Facebook that she and Arnold did not need to defend anything and said police should be allowed to investigate the case.

The woman, who AlgoaFM News has chosen not to identify publicly, further added that both Arnold and his son needed space to deal with the tragedy.

She has since deleted her social media accounts.

The matter will be prosecuted by well known State Advocate Marius Stander who secured a conviction and life sentence for Christopher Panayiotou who plotted to kill his wife Jayde, in 2015.
