Mthatha police are investigating a double murder after the bodies of 2 people were found at the Mthatha Dam late on Sunday afternoon.
They've been identifed as 19-year-old Jacquil Miller and 20-year-old Carl George.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel, Mzukisi Fatyela, says they were last seen on Saturday before their bodies were found by community members.
The car of one of the victims was found in the village of Kwa Link.
Fatyela says the victims had bruises to the upper body but no visible gunshot wounds.
He's appealed to anyone who may have information on the murders to come forward and contact their nearest police station.
