A 26-year-old local Thamsamqa Sishuba will be back in the Great Brak River Regional court on Tuesday for the double murder of a couple at the Southern Cape Town. He is expected to apply for bail. Tewie, aged 72 and Eurika aged 62 were brutally murdered in their home in Sandhoogte Road in early July.
A postmortem indicated that Tewie died of head injuries and Eurika died of multiple stab wounds to her chest.
Police are still searching for Sishuba's accomplice who they describe as the mastermind behind the double murder.
Great Brak River resident, Lebohang Rethabile Lekoro is believed to have fled to a neighbouring country.
