The Eastern Cape town of Dordrect was the target of a suspected robbery gang this weekend.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Cynthia Handile, confirmed a break-in at a branch of FNB.
She said the robbers entered the bank through the roof and broke into an ATM where they removed a substantial but undisclosed amount of cash.
Algoa FM News has also learnt that two stores, a supermarket and a store selling agricultural implements, were also targetted.
There was no entry to the supermarket but it appears that a lot of tools and implements were stolen from the agricultural store.
Anyone who may have information on the break-ins should contact the Dordrecht police.
