Dog arrives home without owner - missing persons report filed

Detectives in Kabega Park in Gqeberha are searching for a young man who was last seen on the morning of the 8th of January this year.

Police spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the 21-year-old Khaya Buhle Ngqase left his house in Troy Avenue, Parsonsvlei just before noon on the day.

She says he was with his dog at the time.

Naidu says the dog has since returned home.

He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt, blue Bermuda shorts and blue 'flip flop' sandals.

Any person with information can contact DW/O Heinrich Minnie on 074 453 2738.

Meanwhile, police in Humansdorp has launched a search for a 56-year-old woman who left her house in Kruisfontein on Friday the 13th.

Colonel Naidu says Liz-Marie Julies told her neighbours that she was going to Mossel Bay, but they have no family or friends in the Western Cape.

She says it is not the first time that Julies has wandered away.

Any person with information can contact DW/O Corne Smit on 042 200 8100 or 082 441 7613.
