Three stock theft suspects will appear in the Uitenhage Magistrate Court Friday on a charge of possession of suspected stolen stock.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says the suspects were arrested on Wednesday morning, after Despatch police noticed a Mazda Sting with a very heavy load driving in Handel street at around 2am.
She says police found a complete cow carcass while searching inside the vehicle's boot and the alleged thieves, aged between 27 and 32, were arrested at the scene.
Swart says they are still trying to locate the rightful owner.
