Despatch man arrested for murder

 A 50-year-old man from Despatch has been arrested on a charge of murder.

Police said the suspect allegedly stabbed his nephew to death after intervening in an argument between the deceased and his girlfriend.

Police spokesperson, warrant officer Marianette Olivier, identified the victim as 22-year-old Romano Draghoender.

She says the suspect will appear in court in Uitenhage on Tuesday.
