The deputy minister of police, Maggie Sotyu, will be in Nelson Mandela Bay on Wednesday.
This is the second leg of her Eastern Cape visit to roll out a national intervention programme.
The police management rolled out the national programme in response to a damning report by a parliamentary committee on oversight visits to police stations across the country.
Deputy Minister Sotyu was in Grahamstown on Tuesday where she addressed issues related to living conditions and health of police members.
In Nelson Mandela Bay she will engage the community of Gelvandale on drug trafficking and substance abuse.
