In the past 48 hours, Port Elizabeth has received 24 mm of rain and Uitenhage 19 mm.
East London received 53 mm in the past 24 hours alone, Port Alfred 43mm and Bisho 40mm.
Good falls have also been recorded in the Eastern Cape interior with Grahamstown receiving 46 millimeters of rain the past two days, Queenstown 32mm, Somerset East 26mm, Cradock 13mm and Graaff-Reinet 18mm.
