DA councillors in Buffalo City staged a walk out at a Council meeting today.
The party alleges that Buffalo City speaker, Luleka Simon, is stalling on a debate on a motion of no confidence in her tabled early in November.
DA caucus leader in the Buffalo City Metro, Kevin Mileham, says several motions and questions have been thwarted over the past few months, particularly when they would embarrass the ANC.
In the earlier notice of motion of no confidence in the Speaker, the DA, among other things, accuses Simon of being unable or unwilling to maintain order and decorum in Council and further more that she cannot behave in an impartial manner.
