DA leader, Helen Zille and parliamentary leader, Lindiwi Mazibuko, will address the party's Eastern Cape provincial conference this weekend.
The conference takes place at the Monument in Grahamstown from Saturday.
DA leader in the Bhisho legislature, Bobby Stevenson, says the conference will elect new office-bearers.
Provincial leader Atholl Trollip is unopposed while the posts of deputy provincial leader will be contested.
He says several key issues will also be under scrutiny.
"One of the key motions that will be coming up for debate is one concerning fracking then there are others dealing with education, land affairs, crime and health care in the province, and basically what the party does is look forward to 2014 and focuses on the key issues of people in the province" Stevenson said.
