The Democratic Alliance in the Southern Cape has laid a complaint with the Independent Electoral Commission.
This, over allegations that people had been bussed in from other areas to register for the upcoming Ward 6 by-elections in George.
Garden Route media reports that upon investigation IEC officials agreed that the DA's complaint was justified and began turning the people away.
It also says the DA has yet to put forward a candidate for this ward, but has until next Tuesday to do so.
