Eastern Cape police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a cyclist was killed when he was hit by a motorcycle on the N-9 near Aberdeen on Sunday morning.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Charles Bramwell says according to the passenger on the motorcycle, the cyclist swerved into them.
He says the accident happened just after 10 am when the motorcycle hit the cyclist head-to-side.
Bramwell says the cyclist died on impact, while the male motorcyclist and his female passenger were injured.
They were taken to the Aberdeen hospital for medical care.
