Cricket South Africa issued a statement on Saturday morning distancing themselves from the alleged action of certain officials who associated themselves with fans wearing masks with the face of New Zealand rugby player Sonny Bill Williams.
This conduct follows the Warner/DeKock incident during the first test against Australia in Durban, for which both players were fined.
The President of Cricket SA Chris Nenzani also apologised to the Board of Australian Cricket, it's officials, players and their families.
CSA says while they respect the rights of fans to represent their points of view they urge all Protea supporters from refraining from being involved in what they called distasteful and unwelcome actions that may impact on the image of the sport and it's supporters.
