The Crazy Store in the Beacon Bay Retail Park in East London has been robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash.
Captain Hazel Mqala said two men entered the store shortly after opening time at 9 am on Monday.
One of them pulled out a firearm and threatened staff members, ordering them to open the safe.
Captain Mqala says the two suspects grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a getaway vehicle.
No-one was injured in the incident.
A case of business robbery has been opened and East London police are searching for the suspects.
