Cradock residents have been advised of water disruptions following electrical disturbances at the Geelbooi pump station.
The Chris Hani District Municipality said on Friday that this will affect water provision in Cradock town especially high lying areas due to the low pressure.
The Municipality says that a backup generator has been activated to support pumping and increase water levels but these efforts are being thwarted by high consumption.
Cradock residents are advised to use water sparingly.
A water tanker will be deployed to service high lying areas.
