Members of the SAPS at Cradock have arrested a suspects about 30 km outside the town on the N10 towards Cookhouse, for possession of drugs and a stolen vehicle.
Warrant Officer Riaan Herselman says the team received information from Tracker that two Volkswagen Polo's, one which was stolen last year in Dobsonville, Johannesburg and the other which was hijacked on Thursday in Kwanobuhle, Port Elizabeth, were on route to Cradock on the N10.
Police eventually spotted the vehicles on the N10 and pulled one of them over.
The occupant, a male aged 34 was arrested.
The other vehicle drove through the roadblock, but was forced to stop going through a stop and go. The suspect fled on foot.
