Four men from Lingelihle Township in Cradock will appear in court on Friday in connection with the murder a local woman, Hettie Philps.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Elmarie van Eck, said they will also be charged with several counts of housebreaking.
The suspects, aged between 18 and 23, were arrested by task team members on Wednesday.
During the arrests police seized goods that were allegedly stolen in at least 14 house-robberies in Cradock in the past two weeks.
Warrant Officer Van Eck says this included goods taken from Philps's Aalwyn Street home following a break-in this week.
