Cradock man arrested for murder

A 30-year-old man from Cradock will appear in court this week on a charge of murder.

Police spokesperson, Captain Stefani Smith, says the man was arrested at the scene of a shooting in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The name of the victim in his forties has not yet been released.

Police did not immediately reveal the motive for the shooting.

The investigation is still ongoing.
