The case against a Cradock man, charged with kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old, has been postponed.
The 52-year-old man appeared in the Cradock Regional court on Friday.
He was arrested in Bloemfontein late last year after he failed to appear in court.
It is alleged that he had kidnapped and raped the girl in Cradock in August.
According to reports, the man had been in a relationship with the young girl.
The case was postponed until the 15 of May and he remains in custody.
