Police have asked a couple who assisted a 13-year-old girl and saved her from three rapists before taking her to hospital, to come forward.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says the teenager was lured into bushes at a bus stop outside Kirkwood, robbed of her cell phone, and raped.
A passing motorist and his companion heard her screams, saved her and took her to the Provincial Hospital in Uitenhage, before leaving.
Naidu says police are appealing to the couple to contact them.
