Couple gunned down in Centane

Eastern Cape police are investigating a double murder, after a 73 year old man and his 49 year old wife were shot dead in Centane.
 
Spokesperson Captain Jackson  Manatha says both were shot in their upper bodies. 

He says the wife died instantly in her bed, while the elderly husband died while being rushed to a local hospital.

Manatha says the motive for the double murder is not known.

No arrests have yet been made.
