Trade union federation Cosatu will hold its Eastern Cape May Day rally in East London.
Cosatu general secretary, Zwelinzima Vavi, ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe and SACP deputy general secretary Jeremy Cronin will address a rally at the Sisa Dukashe stadium.
Meanwhile, ANC treasurer-general Matthews Phosa will be the keynote speaker at a MayDay rally in Plettenberg Bay, one of three rallies scheduled for the Western Cape.
He will be joined by Cosatu treasurer Freda Oosthuysen and SACP central committee member Godfrey Oliphant.
The Plett May Day rally takes place at the Kwa-Nokuthula Community Hall.
