Cops need info following hit and run in Joubertina

Joubertina police are appealing for help in a hit-and-run accident in which a man was killed.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Basil Seekoei, says the body of the unidentified man was found on the R62 near Joubertina early on Monday morning.

He says it appears that the as yet unidentified man was hit by a vehicle.

Seekoei says a case of culpable homicide is being investigated.

He's also appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
