A 25-year-old man from Willowvale in the Eastern Cape will appear in court this week for allegedly killing a man attempting to rape his mother.
Police spokesperson, Captain Jackson Manatha, says the 38-year-old victim is a relative of the woman and the alleged killer.
He says the man had stayed over at the woman's house in the Mkhwezweni Location at Willowvale where the incident happened.
The woman's son, who was alerted by her screams, allegedly stabbed the man in the upper body.
He died on the scene.
