The president of the Congress of the People, Mosioua Lekota will arrive in the Eastern Cape this week for a three day visit.
The Party says in a statement Lekota will lead a delegation of National, Provincial and Regional leaders.
His visit forms part of the consolidation of COPE's election campaign ahead of the May 7 general election.
Lekota will start his visit to the province on Tuesday in the Chris Hani region, and on Wednesday he will pay a courtesy visit to the AbaThembu King, Zwelibanzi Dalindyebo.
That will be followed by visits to the Mthatha and Port St Johns areas.
On Thursday, Lekota will wrap up his campain in the Buffalo City area.
