Jealous boyfriend burns girlfriend and child alive

Police in Port Elizabeth arrested a man in the early hours of Sunday morning after he allegedly burnt down his girlfriends shack in Motherwell.

Spokesperson Warrant Officer Andre Beetge says the man was allegedly jealous, because his 40 year old girlfriend went to visit other people.

He forced her and her 4 year old daughter into their shack, before locking them up and setting them alight.

He will appear in court on Tuesday on two charges of murder
