A convicted killer and known gangster Nealon Redhouse has been sentenced to another 8 years in prison.
The 21-year-old Redhouse was sentenced on Monday for the illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
In February 2018 he was sentenced to an effective 18 years for two other murders and a string of charges which was committed in November 2015.
Redhouse and his friend Deon Harmse were convicted and sentenced for the murder of 12-year-old Aaliya Tee, for which they were each sentenced to 30 years.
Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says police will continue imposing sentences on convicted gangsters.
A total of 89-years imprisonment has now been imposed on Redhouse.
Many of his sentences will run concurrently, which means he will spend an effective 52 years behind bars.
Naidu says he will only start with his 30-year sentence for Tee's murder, once he has completed his 18 years for the crimes he committed in 2015.
