A contract worker has been injured after falling from a height at Mercedes Benz's East London plant.
Company spokesperson, Lynnette Skriker, said Wednesday that the worker is employed by contractor Stefanutti Stocks which is building the company's new "W205 C-Class bodyshop."
She says the worker is in stable condition and has been taken to hospital.
"A full investigation will be conducted by Stefanutti Stocks to determine the mechanism behind his fall," Skriker said.
