A well-known company, which was caught red-handed for illegal dumping in Nelson Mandela Bay, has been fined R2 000.
An official from the Metro spotted the company truck dumping its rubbish close to the Struanway depot recently.
Another truck was back on Tuesday dumping rubbish off the M6 between Despatch and Uitenhage.
The Metro says another R2 000 fine was issued and the driver warned.
Mayoral Committee Member for Public Health, Yolisa Pali, is urging residents and companies to refrain from illegal dumping and to make use of the Municipal refuse removal services.
