A 34-year-old woman accused of defrauding Eskom of R300 000 will be back in the King Williams Town on Friday.
Nikezwa Qwabe allegedly sold Eskom electricity for R350.00 for 600 units.
Her clients would allegedly deposit money into her account via cellphone banking and would then receive vouchers with inflated units.
Police Spokesperson Captain Khaya Tonjeni says Qwabe was arrested following an intelligence-driven Forensic Investigation which started in March, in conjunction with Eskom.
He says she has been operating since 2018 and has clients as far as the Western Cape and Gauteng.
Captain Tonjeni says the investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
Qwabe has been in custody since her arrest last week and will bring a formal bail application on Friday.
