The body of a man, missing for over a month has been found in Bethelsdorp.
Police Spokesperson Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says the body of 64 year old James Ponnie was found by children playing outside. Ponnie was reported missing in April this year.
Police are investigating a case of drowning.
Meanwhile an inquest docket has been opened following the death of a man in his fifties.Labans says the fire broke out in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He lived alone in a shack in Arcadia and died of smoke inhalation.
