Charred body found in Gqeberha

Gqeberha detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in identifying a person whose charred body was found in bushes between the Oceanview and Openview areas near Malabar on Friday.

Colonel Pricilla Naidu says two boys found the burning body of an unknown adult man.

She says when police arrived at the scene, the bush was still smoldering.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown and police have opened an inquest docket.
