Cape Town Border police are seeking the public's assistance in tracing a wanted suspect who is believed to be in the East London area.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi, says John Mundell is wanted for fraud and theft.
He said Mundell allegedly stole tyres from his previous employer and sold them to another company in November 2020.
Swartbooi said the estimated value of the tyres is R350 000.
A warrant of arrest has since been issued.
Police have urged anyone with information that can lead to his arrest to call the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Johannes Geldenhuys, on 071 473 0877 or 021 927 2935.
