Cape Town man drowns at Glentana beach

A 23-year-old man drowned in the sea at Glentana in the Mossel Bay area on Thursday evening.

According to police, the man was swimming when the incident happened at around 8 pm.

The deceased was on holiday and was originally from Cape Town.

The circumstances surrounding the drowning are not yet known.

Great Brak River police have opened an inquest docket.
