A 49 year old Cape Town man has drowned while swimming at Diaz Beach in Mossel Bay.
NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon says lifeguards were able to bring the man and his 15 year old son to shore, where paramedics commenced CPR on the father.
The son was not injured.
Lambinon says despite extensive efforts, the man was declared dead by paramedics.
Police have opened an inquest docket.
Meanwhile, the search is continuing for two teenagers, who were swept from the rocks in Herolds Bay on Tuesday morning.
The boys, both 14-years old were fishing with a 29-year old family member at the time.
