A business owner was shot dead during an armed robbery in Sidwell, Port Elizabeth, on Wednesday morning.
He has been identified as 36 year-old Mohammed Laher.
Police Warrant-Officer Alwin Labans says 5 men entered Laher's shop in Commercial road at 8.20am.
Police say dozens of shots were fired. The owner of the shop was wounded in the upper body and died in hospital.
A suspect was also shot and killed by police while a third suspect was wounded in the upper body.
