Several buildings are on fire at Woodridge College outside Port Elizabeth following a change in wind direction late Saturday afternoon.
The Municipality’s head of Safety and Security, John Best, said that several “outbuildings” were ablaze.
It's believed that the reception and music hall were also ablaze.
Meanwhile, Best said that fire-fighters were able to “save” several houses under threat at Schoenmakerskop. However, he said the fire is still burning in the area.
Earlier authorities had reported that a thatched-roof house had been lost.
