Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality is still in shock after the Municipality's housing manager was gunned down in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday evening.
Police say Sabelo Kondile was shot while sitting in his car at Embizweni Square in New Brighton.
Police spokesperson Thembi Gwe says no arrest has been made and the motives of the shooting have not yet been established.
Buffalo city metro spokesperson Keith Ngesi says they are deeply saddened by the tragedy.
He described Kondile as a dedicated official who went an extra mile in doing his work.
