It has been 45 days since the badly beaten body of a woman was found naked on Brighton Beach in Nelson Mandela Bay.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says not a single person has come forward to identify the victim and they still have no positive leads in the case.
On the 10th of February, security personnel were patrolling the beach when they came across her badly beaten body at 8 am.
She says the victim sustained severe injuries to her head and stomach and police suspect she may have been run over several times by a vehicle.
Colonel Naidu says they have since sent her DNA for analysis and cannot yet establish whether or not she was raped.
She says the victim is quite short in height and has short red hair.
Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of those involved is urged to contact the police.
