The second bail application of a Port Elizabeth man, accused of severely assaulting his former girlfriend and two other friends in December, was postponed until tomorrow in the city's magistrates court on .
Twenty-one year old Brent Cunningham was denied bail in January, after Magistrate Gavin Juicy found him to be a danger to the public.
Defence attorney Danie Gouws is expected to produce new evidence in an attempt to persuade Juicy that Cunningham's release would be in the best interest of justice.
Cunningham has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
His trial will continue in the St Albans Prison court on 16th May.
