An eight year old boy has been killed in an accident on the M-4 freeway in Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Alwin Labans, says seven other people were injured in Tuesday afternoon's accident.
He says a bakkie, which hit a truck, went out of control and overturned, landing on the opposite side of the freeway.
Traffic was severely disrupted as a result of the crash.
