A fugitive couple who allegedly stole jewellery from show houses across the country will appear in court in PE on Monday.
The 33-year-old man and 42-year-old woman were arrested by the Port Elizabeth flying squad on Wednesday night.
Police seized alleged stolen goods to the value of R80 000 in their bakkie.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the couple visited showhouses in the Western Cape pretending to be interested buyers, but instead helped themselves to people's belongings.
They allegedly swindled home owners in Paarl, and made their way through the Garden Route and ended up in Port Elizabeth where they were eventually arrested.
Since their arrest more victims have come forward.
