Body of unknown man found in PE street

 Port Elizabeth police are investigating the death of an unknown man, whose body was found in Military Road on Friday morning.

Spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says a motorist on her way to work, noticed the body just before 7 o'clock.

She says there were no visible injuries to the man's body, and the cause of of death is still unclear.

Janse van Rensburg says the man was in his late 50's.

Police have opened an inquest docket.
