The body of a 22-year-old man Johannesburg who went missing while swimming at Hobie Beach in Port Elizabeth has been found.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said that the body of Mayenziwe Moyo, washed up at Shark Rock pier early on Friday morning.
Moyo went missing after he and another man went swimming on Wednesday evening at Hobie Beach and then became separated from each other.
The NSRI said in an earlier statement that one man was washed towards the shore while Moyo disappeared under the water.
Naidu said an inquest docket has been opened.
